Sweet Meadow Birthday Card

This birthday card took me ages to make as I decoupaged all of the elements on the paper.  I didn't realise how long it would take to cut all of the images out.

I used a clear glittery Gelly Roll pel to highlight parts of the images.  The pinwheel flower in the centre was made using a 2.5cm wide strip of Sweet Meadow paper scored at 0.5cm intervals.  I then folded this into a concertina, stuck the two ends together, pushed it into shape and stuck it to a punched circle of card (using Glossy Accents) to keep it in place.  I also used Glossy Accents to attach the In Circle message.

Card Candi & Spellbinders

Craftwork Cards and Spellbinders are in a cross-promotional partnership.  Members of the design team were given lots of Candi and some Spellbinders dies and asked to make ptojects to be taken to CHA in America.

This is one of the cards that I made - it doesn't show too well on the picture but I added Glossy Accents to the purple Candi and glitter glue to the orange Candi.  The lime Candi on the centre flower has a small crystal in the centre.

Trѐs Chic On the Edge (Scallop)

I used a small On the Edge scallop blank for this.  Again I think it is fairly self explanatory- the chandelier die cut has been inked round the edges and has self-adhesive crystals in it.  I added Glossy Accents to the Candi which gives a lovely effect.

Love & Romance

This is a card I made for a swap on my card group.  The base card is a hot pink pearlescent card from Craftwork Cards.  I used a big Fancy Pants stamp to create the background - as you will see I don't do a lot of stamping but this stamp is one of my all time favourites.

The 'I' and the 'U' are cut with my Mac 'n' Cheese dies and I used a glue pen to attach these onto the panels of black card.  The heart is from a Blonde Moments stamp set - I stamped it onto hot pink card, cut it out, attached it to the black panel with foam pads and added Glossy Accents to some of the circles.

The three black panels are attached to the card with foam pads and to finish off I added three pieces of Candi and added Glossy Accents to them.

And again ...

I really like this Botanical range from Craftwork Cards and I pinched this idea from the sheet I got with my project kit, although mine is a little different.  The card has been scanned with a piece of lime card behind it to show the scalloped edge (my scanner puts things on a white background and as the edge isn't straight I can't crop it).

I cut three flower heads from a sheet of the blue paper and stuck them over the same flowers on the lime paper and I used a sparkly Gelly Roll pen on some of the leaves and flowers although this doesn't show up very well.

The second picture shows how I decorated the inside of the card.  The strip of lime paper was actually cut from the end of the panel on the front of the card.

Botanical

Craftwork Cards have just brought out a new range of papers and embellishments called Botanical and it is absolutely gorgeous.  My order arrived today and I really pleased with it.  The colours in the collection are Caribbean Sky, Ice White and Lime - they look fab together.

I used a large square (148mm) card blank from Craftwork Cards Back to Basics range as my base card.  Then I added a panel of paper across the bottom of the card.  I trimmed down one of the Colour Me panels, coloured the flower using ProMarkers and stuck it to the centre of  a lime scalloped rectangle which I fastened to the card with foam pads.

Finally I added a piece of Candi to the flower and three pieces to the edge of the card before adding Glossy Accents to them.

Gold Confetti

I used a 12cm square white card blank from Craftwork Cards as the base card and covered the front with some latte gold foiled Confetti paper.  I then stuck a marshmallow Mini Elegant Square to the centre of the card using double sided tape and added a Heartful Flower to the centre of it using foam pads.  The next step was to attach an In Circle Message to marshmallow punched circle and then attach them to the Heartfelt Flower (double sided tape).

Finally I added the two Retro Daisies using foam pads, put Candi in the centre of them and added Glossy Accents to the Candi.

Birthday Boy

I've used the Birds 'n' Trees template again.  This is a bit of a mixture of the cards I posted earlier in the week (although I did actually make this one first).

I even decorated the inside - the numbers are cut using Mac 'n' Cheese dies.  The In Circle Message is stuck to a 1 3/8" circle attached to a punched lime scallop circle and mounted onto the card using foam pads.

This card is for a friend whose birthday is today - Happy Birthday Gary - hope you have a lovely day xxx

Chocolate Lime Bits and Pieces

This is made from a small cream square blank - it's from a Back to Basics pack by Craftwork Cards.  I used three scraps of gold foiled paper and stuck them to the card with double sided tape, then I added two halves of Retro Daisies (left over from a previous card) and stuck these to card with a glue pen.  The centres of these are half a punched circle stuck down using a glue pen.

Next I attached the Retro Daisy using foam pads, added Candi to the centre and the edge of card and covered all four pieces with Glossy Accents.

Daisy Daisy

I used a handbag shaped blank from Craftwork Cards for this and added the lime and chocolate foiled papers using double sided tape.  The Retro Daisy in the centre is attached with foam pads and the other two daisies (Martha Stewart punch) are attached with a glue pen.  I punched a lime circle for the centre of the Retro Daisy and used a glue pen to stick it down.  Then I stuck Candi to the centres of the flowers using foam pads and finished them off with Glossy Accents - simple but quite striking.

Craftwork Cards have just rebranded Card Candy as Candi and there are some fabulous colours, some of which are foiled with tiny white daisies and tiny white spots.  I can't wait to get my hands on some.

Chocolate Lime Trees

I've used the Birds 'n' Trees template again for this card.  The pearlescent card blank is from Craftwork Cards as are the gold foiled papers.  I punched a few small circles and stuck them to the card using a glue pen .  I added some Card Candy directly to the card and some to the circles and then used Glossy Accents on each to give a lovely glossy finish.

The strip of paper at the bottom of the card is attached with double sided tape and I used an In Circle Message on a punched scallop circle mounted on foam pads to finish off the card.  This is one of my favourite colour cominations.

Birds 'n' Trees Template

I don't usually use templates as I struggle to cut things out properly but I just had to have a play with this template from Craftwork Cards.  I used a pearlescent card blank (Craftwork Cards) for the base and gold foiled paper (also from Craftwork Cards) for the trees.  The trees are stuck onto the card with a glue pen.

I then used foam pads to stick the Card Candy to the card.   The brown Card Candy have dots of glitter glue on them and the orange ones have Glossy Accents on them.

I finished the card off with an Oval Message in a punched scallop oval which I attached to the card using foam pads.

ATC - R

This is the R ATC for my card group - I might just make the deadline this time!  The base of the card is some red pearlescent cardstock from Craftwork Cards.  I used a Fancy Pants stamp to create the background and inked the edges of the card with the same black ink.  I stamped the image onto matching red card using a  heart stamp from Blonde Moments and once dry I cut it out.

Then I stuck the black mat onto the ATC using double sided tape and fastened a piece of black grosgrain ribbon to the centre again using double sided tape. The ends of the ribbon were wrapped round the back of the card and were covered with the backing card.

The final stage was to attach the heart using foam pads and to add Glossy Accents to the larger circles on the heart.
