Two of the Girls

These are the final two cards which I made for Craftwork Cards.

Part of the Dolly Mixtures collection by Craftwork Cards comprises postcards of the three girls who make up the collection, Amy, Coleen and Cheryl.  These are great for colouring in with ProMarkers, Copics etc.  I don't really 'do' colouring in as I always seem to find that whatever I do looks a mess!  But... I coloured in part of Amy and it didn't look too bad.  Here is the finished card:

I wasn't brave enough to colour Amy's dress but then I coloured in Cheryl and decided to go for it!  Here is the card I made:

The colouring is nowhere near as good as it could be but I don't think it's too bad.  There are lots of videos on You Tube that are worth watching but I guess the old saying practice makes perfect is relevant here!

Botanical Again

Just for a change I've used Botanical again - I think it is my all time favourite from Craftwork Cards.

It's a very simple card - you perhaps can't see from the image but the lime Scalloped Rectangle is attached to the card with foam pads.  I coloured the image with ProMarkers and even attempted a bit of shading on the petals!

Warren Again

I used a Petal Point On the Edge blank for this card. I chose a different picture of Warren this time and added a little colour with ProMarkers before mounting the image onto a large scalloped circle.

I attached a panel of marshmallow Cottontail paper across the inside edge of the card so that it can be seen when the card is closed.  Then I added a skyscraper panel across the front of the card.  The scalloped circles is attached with foam pads as is the Tiny Sentiment.  Finally I added so spotty Candi above each point on the card.

Just for a Change ...

This is made from a 148mm square Back to Basics card blank from Craftwork Cards.  The scalloped rectangle is attached with foam pads to add a little dimension.

I used  Cornflower and Lime Green ProMarkers to colour the image and then added a little extra sparkle with a Gelly Roll pen.

The Candi at the top of the card are one of the new releases from Craftwork Cards and are foiled with tiny white daisies.
