Golden Wedding

I was asked to make this card for a Golden Wedding Anniversary.
The chipboard heart was embossed using the Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls embossing folder and then I painted it with a gold Dabber. I added three gold crystals down the left hand side and finished the card off with gold sheer ribbon and an Elegance Save the Date message.

Happy Birthday Dan

And here is the side view:

I made this easel card for Dan who is 21 today - bet you would never have guessed! The card blank is an 8 by 8 from Craftwork Cards. The chipboard letters and numbers (Craftwork Cards) were embossed with the Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes embossing folder and then painted with a silver Dabber. The dotty paper is from the Best of British collection by Craftwork Cards. I finished the card off with an oval sentiment from Craftwork Cards mounted on a scalloped oval punched with a Stampin' Up punch.
Happy Birthday Dan, hope you have a great day xx

Masked Leaves

I made this card some time ago and this is another that is not my usual style. The background was made by using a dabber over the top of a Heidi Swapp Mask, removing the mask, adding silver embossing powder and heating with a heat gun. This was then mounted on black and turquoise pearlescent card and put on a white card blank. The flowers were cut with a Spellbinders die from the same card used in the layers.

Just Because

I used Romance papers again for the background on this card. I really like the grey papers from this collection - quite a surprise as when I placed my order I thought I would prefer the red and hot pink ones!

The chipboard heart is from Craftwork Cards and is painted with a Raspberry Dabber (Ranger/Tim Holtz) and embellished with Card Candy. The sentiment is also from Craftwork Cards and I used a Stampin' Up punch to cut the scalloped circle.

Elegant Rectangles Again

I made this card by scoring one of the Elegant Rectangles down the centre and folding it to form a card blank. The heart is a chipboard one from Craftwork Cards and is painted with a Raspberry Dabber (Ranger/Tim Holtz) and overstamped with a stamp by Fancy Pants.
