Two Quick and Easy Cards

I made this using a kraft blank from Craftwork Cards and two of these kraft flowers.  I used the pieces which I popped out of the petals on the large flower to create a third flower.  The sentiment is an In Circle message and I finished the card off with some Candi.

For my second card I used paper from the Flower Fusion Paper Pack - the flowers were cut using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die.  I added crushed Candi round the the edges of a black and silver frame before attaching the flowers to the frame and adding more crushed Candi to form the centre of the flower.  Again the sentiment is an In Circle message.

Here is a close up of the frame:

Birthday Wishes

This was made with Peas in a Pod. It doesn't show in the image, but the spine of the card is across the top.

The hearts were cut using the embossed squares and a Sissix Bigz Die.

For Julie

Today I've been to Embsay Mill near Skipton to see Julie Hickey who was hosting a Candi party.  I took her this card from the cats!

The bunting was cut from embossed squares and has small punched daisies between each piece  I added lilac crystals to each daisy and used some small letter stickers to spell 'Julie'.

At the bottom of the card I added a strip of paper, a die cut daisy, a punched scalloped circle and an In Circle message.

Variation on a Theme - Two

This time I die cut 3 three pink daisies and three lilac centres from the embossed squares.  I curled the petals and attached to the card with 2mm foam pads.

I used a panel of the striped paper for the rosette and when I cut the panel I included a narrow border of lilac which you can see around the outside edge of the flower.

This looks so different from yesterday's card and the Sweetheart Buds colour scheme looks so different without the green.

Variation on a Theme - One

I used Peas in a Pod products for this card - still love this colour scheme.  Tomorrow I'll post a card using a similar design to this but made with Sweetheart Buds.

For some reason this picture has a blue cast to it and I'm not sure why!

Happy Birthday

Another frame like yesterday's but today I have used Peas in a Pod.  There's a little more detail on today's card but I think it is mainly self-explanatory.

I just love the Sweet Pea collection, especially the Peas in a Pod colour combination.

Thank You

Another very quick card using an Elegance card blank.  The daisies are from the new Retro Flower Store by Craftwork Cards and the message band is from the It's a Wrap Sentiments also from Craftwork Cards.  I curled the petals to add some dimension to the card.

On your Birthday

A very simple card using a kraft square blank.  I added a panel of Kraft Fusion paper, a die cut flower with a message on a punched circle and finished off with three pieces of Candi.

Thinking of You

I made this card using Secret Garden papers from Craftwork Cards.

I actually used this as a sympathy card; the delicate, pastel colours work well.

Christmas Chocolates

Here's a couple of bags of chocolate mints that I decorated.  Each mint is sandwiched between two scalloped circles.  I then added a punched circle, a punched snowflake and a piece of Candi.

Finally I put them into cellophane bags and tied then with ribbon and a tag made from a scalloped circle, a punched circle and an In Circle message.  In total I made 13 of these bags in various colour combinations.

Anyway, Happy Birthday Jeannie - have a fabulous day and enjoy your celebrations xxx

Thinking of You

This paper is from the new Secret Garden collection from Craftwork Cards and it is gorgeous - delicate and glittery.  I made this card as a sympathy card - it hasn't scanned very well but is actually a lovely pale green.

Happy Birthday

These papers and the belt are all from the Shabby Vintage collection by Craftwork Cards.  In real life the card was straight but the I think I scanned it at a slight angle - oops!

Shabby Vintage Friend

This was made using an 8" x 8" card blank which I covered with a full sheet  of Shabby Vintage paper.  The belt, flowers, buttons and foiled letters are from the same collection as is the paper I used for the pinwheel flower.

Shabby Vintage Chocolate

I covered this chocolate bar using Shabby Vintage paper, a Shabby Vintage belt with a pinwheel flower that I made with my Hougie Board.

I've also made a card to match this which I will post in the next few days.

Clever Boy

This is the finished project from my post a few days ago.  I was going to make up an Easy Peasy box to put these in but I used Bendicks Bittermints which are quite big and I wouldn't have been able to fit them all in.

Each mint is sandwiched between two red scalloped circles, the top on has a punched black circle in the centre and then I used foam pads to attach the Alphabits.

I made these for a friend who is a Manchester United fan, hence the colour choice.

Sweet Meadow Chocolate Bar

Here is a bar of chocolate that I decorated to go with yesterday's birthday card.  I wrapped a piece of Sweet Meadow paper round the bar and fastened it with double sided tape.  I then added a strip of the embossed rose paper and finished off with a pinwheel flower matching the one on the birthday card.

Sweet Meadow Birthday Card

This birthday card took me ages to make as I decoupaged all of the elements on the paper.  I didn't realise how long it would take to cut all of the images out.

I used a clear glittery Gelly Roll pel to highlight parts of the images.  The pinwheel flower in the centre was made using a 2.5cm wide strip of Sweet Meadow paper scored at 0.5cm intervals.  I then folded this into a concertina, stuck the two ends together, pushed it into shape and stuck it to a punched circle of card (using Glossy Accents) to keep it in place.  I also used Glossy Accents to attach the In Circle message.

Warren Looking Especially Cute

I think this is one of my favourite images of Warren - he looks so cute on here.  The image is cut with a Spellbinders Blossom die and mounted on green card cut with same die.
