Frosty Easel Card

I made this using an Elegant Square easel card from Craftwork Cards.  The image of Frosty fits nicely in the centre.

Warren and Friend

Another easel card, this time using Warren and his friend the reindeer.  I cut the image with a Spellbinders Blossom die, cut a larger matching shape in green and attached the image to this.

The paper is from the Craftwork Cards 'Very Merry' collection.

Trѐs Chic - Elegant On the Edge

This little card was made using a Craftwork Cards On the Edge Elegant blank in a lovely purple colour.  It is very simple and was quick to make but is very striking.

It's Your Birthday

I still haven't tired of the Botanical collection by Craftwork Cards - I think it may be my all time Craftwork Cards favourite!

I used a Top Notch card blank and added a panel of white Botanical paper.  Then I trimmed down on of the Colour Me panels, coloured the flower with ProMarkers and stuck it to a Ritzy lime Scalloped Rectangle.  I stuck an Oval Message to a punched scallop oval and used foam pads to attach it and the lime rectangle over the white panel.

Enjoy Your Birthday

This card was really quick to make.  I used two Ritzy lime Elegant Rectangles as the base card and added a panel of Botanical paper across the centre of the top one.  To join the two together I scored the back one vertically approx 2 cm in from the left hand edge and used strong double sided tape (to the left of the score line) to stick the two together.

I used Candi in the centre of some of the flowers and added glitter glue to it for a bit of sparkle!  Finally I used foam pads to attach an Oval Message on a puched scallop oval.

Birthday Wishes

This is another simple card, again on a small square Back to Basics blank from Craftwork Cards.  I cut two squares of Botanical paper and stuck them to diagonally opposite corners of the card.  Then I attached three Spiky Flowers using foam pads and added Candi to the centres.

As this card was so simple I also decorated the inside with  an Oval Message on an oval scalloped circle which was attached onto a small panel of Botanical paper using foam pads.

Happy Birthday Again

This is another very simple card.  I used a small square Back to Basics card blank from Craftwork Cards and added six strips of Botanical papers - 3 horizontally and 3 vertically - random widths and randomly spaced.  I then added a Retro Daisy (attached with foam pads) with a piece of Candi in the centre and a scalloped oval with an Oval Message in the centre (also attached with foam pads).

Happy Birthday

I used a small square Back to Basics card blank from Craftwork Cards as the base for this, covered the front with the blue paper and attached the panel of lime over the top.  Then I added three pieces of Candi to the centre of the flowers. 

Finally I added the scalloped oval and sentiment.

Thinking of You

I used a Top Notch card blank from the Back to Basics range by Craftwork Cards for the base card.  I have actually scanned the finished card over a sheet of Ritzy Lime to show the notches in the corners of the card.

The blue text panel is attached with double sided tape and I used foam pads to attach the Scalloped Rectangle and the punched scallop oval.  This made the card a little more dimensional.

I used Lime Green, China Blue and Cornflower ProMarkers to colour the flower and then went over the top of the flower head with a Gelly Roll pen.

And again ...

I really like this Botanical range from Craftwork Cards and I pinched this idea from the sheet I got with my project kit, although mine is a little different.  The card has been scanned with a piece of lime card behind it to show the scalloped edge (my scanner puts things on a white background and as the edge isn't straight I can't crop it).

I cut three flower heads from a sheet of the blue paper and stuck them over the same flowers on the lime paper and I used a sparkly Gelly Roll pen on some of the leaves and flowers although this doesn't show up very well.

The second picture shows how I decorated the inside of the card.  The strip of lime paper was actually cut from the end of the panel on the front of the card.

Sorry It's Late

This card was made using a small square card blank from Craftwork Cards.  I mounted a panel of red paper foiled with silver spots onto a panel of black card and stuck this to the card blank with double sided tape. 

I made the flower by punching 5 scallop circles from grey and red foiled paper (3 grey and 2 red).  Then I scrunched the circles, opened them out, put them on top of each other starting with grey and alternating the colours and punched a hole in the centre using a Japanese screw punch.  To fasten them together I used a black brad.  I mounted the flower onto the card using foam pads.  All of the papers on this card are from the Red Romance collection by Craftwork Cards.

Finally I added an Oval Message to a punched scallop oval and stuck this to the card using foam pads.

Birthday Boy

I've used the Birds 'n' Trees template again.  This is a bit of a mixture of the cards I posted earlier in the week (although I did actually make this one first).

I even decorated the inside - the numbers are cut using Mac 'n' Cheese dies.  The In Circle Message is stuck to a 1 3/8" circle attached to a punched lime scallop circle and mounted onto the card using foam pads.

This card is for a friend whose birthday is today - Happy Birthday Gary - hope you have a lovely day xxx

Birds 'n' Trees Template

I don't usually use templates as I struggle to cut things out properly but I just had to have a play with this template from Craftwork Cards.  I used a pearlescent card blank (Craftwork Cards) for the base and gold foiled paper (also from Craftwork Cards) for the trees.  The trees are stuck onto the card with a glue pen.

I then used foam pads to stick the Card Candy to the card.   The brown Card Candy have dots of glitter glue on them and the orange ones have Glossy Accents on them.

I finished the card off with an Oval Message in a punched scallop oval which I attached to the card using foam pads.

Confetti

I used two Elegant Rectangles from Craftwork Cards as the base for this.  The papers are from the Craftwork Cards Confetti collection which was launched recently and the flowers are from their most recent Flower Store.  I stuck the bottom flower of each pair to the card using a glue pen and then used foam pads to stick the top flowers on before adding a piece of Card Candy to the centre of each.

To finish off I punched a scalloped oval and added an oval message to the centre of it.

Happy New Year!

Here is a New Year card which I have made for a friend.  I used some My Mind's Eye papers which I bought from Craftwork Cards a few months ago.  The numbers are die cut using my Mac 'n' Cheese dies.

I even decorated the inside of the card with some of the paper used on the front, a punched scallop oval and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Happy Halloween

I don't think I've made a Halloween card before but I suppose there's a first time for everything.  I made this one for a friend who will know who they are when they receive it!

I've used Craftwork cards Ritzy cardstock and some Craftwork Cards black pearlescent cardstock.  I punched the scalloped oval with a Stampin' Up punch and added a Craftwork Cards oval message to the centre.  This was stuck onto the card with foam pads to add a little dimension.

For Ann

It is in memory of my friend, Ann, who passed away recently. She was a big fan of Craftwork Cards and was one of the first members of the Card Club.  A couple of months ago she mentioned to me that she liked the Blossom papers so I thought it would be fitting to use them on this card.

Despite suffering from Cystic Fibrosis, Ann never complained about her illness and gave up a lot of her spare time to help others no matter how she felt. She is a true inspiration. RIP Ann xx

To a Very Special Friend

I used a DL card blank for a change on this card - I mainly tend to use square cards. The papers are Blossom from Craftwork Cards - I really love this range.

The daisy is mounted on foam pads to give some dimension as is the pink oval which I punched out with a Stampin' Up punch.

Deepest Sympathy

I used a pearlescent white card blank and covered the front with the pink and white flowered Blossom paper then added a strip of pink and white spotty Blossom paper.

To give the flower a 3d effect I scored the petals of the daisies down the centres and bent them upwards. I stuck the two daisies together using a glue pen and added a piece of Card Candy to the centre. Finally I added an oval message mounted on a silver punched oval.

You're a Star!

I used a Ritzy Lime card blank for this and some My Mind's Eye papers from Craftwork Cards. The stars and scalloped oval were punched with Stampin' Up punches and I added an oval message to finish off the card.

This card is for a friend but I can't say much else as it relates to something that is hush hush at the moment. You know who you are though - you are a star and I have every confidence that you will continue to shine xxx
