Happy Birthday Sue

A little birdie told me that Sue Taylor from Craftwork Cards has a special birthday today!  This card is very similar to the one I made for Julie a couple of weeks ago for her special birthday but this is a completely different colour scheme.

Happy Birthday Sue, hope you have a lovely day xx

Très Chic - Scalloped Circles

This uses the same principle as yesterday's card with the two scalloped circles. I have positioned the flowers and the Tour Eiffel die cut overhanging the edges of the circle which makes the card a little different.

On the Edge - Elegant

Something a little different this time in that I folded back the edge of the card - I actually pinched this idea from Julie Hickey but I am sure she won't mind!

Très Chic - Birthday Wishes

I used 148mm square Back to Basics blank for this.  The circle was cut using a Nestabilities Die.  I still really like the Très Chic papers and the black and hot pink colour combination.

Fruit Scoop - Happy Birthday

This is a Craftwork Cards DL Back to Basics blank. I usually use these as portrait but opted for landscape this time. The colours in Fruit Scoop are lovely and vibrant, and there are so many combinations which work well together. I love the combination of lime and turquoise.

Fruit Scoop - Thank You

Another DL Back to Basics blank. These papers were the pieces left from the card with buttons on that I posted a couple of days ago. The ribbon is actually two pieces - my original plan to cut a slot in the spine of the card, thread the ribbon through and have it going round the front wouldn't work due to the angle.

Fruit Scoop - Take 2

This card was made using the panels left over from Wednesday's card. I used Notched Flowers this time though instead of Retro Daisies.

Très Chic Mirror

The base is actually a 148mm square Back to Basics blank which I cut down to form an A6 blank. The backing paper is a rectangular panel with both ends cut off at an angle. Apart from that I think the rest of card is fairly self-explanatory.

I'm still loving the Très Chic range!

Fruit Scoop

Fruit Scoop is a new paper and die cut collection from Craftwork Cards.  The base card is a cream 148mm square Back to Basics.

The Notched Flowers and the scallop circle are all attached with foam pads to add dimension.

Très Chic - Nestabilities

This was made with a Top Notch Back to Basics blank although the bottom notch doesn't show on the scan.

I used a Spellbinder Nestabilities die (Labels One) to cut the hot pink and paper panels.  Once stuck together I attached to the card with foam pads.

Swap Card - Très Chic

I've made this for a swap on my card group. It's a little more detailed than my usual style and there's some rubber stamping using my favourite Fancy Pants background stamp.

Très Chic - Paper Rose

I cut the circle of Très Chic paper using a Spellbinders die and inked the edges. The Tour Eiffel die cut was embossed with a Cuttlebug text folder which worked really well. If you buy the Très Chic project kit from www.craftworkcards.co.uk you will receive instructions on how to make these paper roses. I used the lid from a tub of Pringles as a template for mine!

Très Chic - Gap Card

This gap card was made using two Elegant Rectangles from Craftwork Cards.

Notched Flowers bridge the gap and I attached these using a glue pen.  As a change from Candi centres I punched circles from one of the Très Chic papers.
