Embossed Frame

I made this card using an embossed frame by Craftwork Cards which was featured on QVC yesterday.  The flower was cut from Moorish papers using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die.  I fastened the four flowers together with a brad and attached the flower to the card with foam pads.  Finally I punched a scalloped circle from toning card and layered it with a sentiment before sticking it to the corner of the card.

The embossed frames are really lovely and they come in a pad along with 8" by 8" sheets of white card.  They are great for colouring with distress inks or chalks or look equally as good when used just as they are.

Just Because

This little gift bag was made using a sheet of Moorish paper (8" by 8") and my Hougie Board.  I finished it off with a die cut flower, Candi and a sentiment from the It's a Wrap Sentiments kit by Craftwork Cards.

The second picture shows the bag when open.  To keep it closed I used two small circles of velcro.

On your Special Day

A very simple but effective card made with a panel of Moorish paper, a Moroccan Message Band, a double flower and Candi.

I love the combination of the pale green against the white.

Just a Note

I used the Moorish Collection from Craftwork Cards for this card along with two daisies from their new Retro Flower Store.  The sentiment is from the It's a Wrap Sentiments kit which was recently featured on QVC.

I made this little gift bag using my Hougie Board and decorated it with elements from the Moorish Collection by Craftwork Cards.  The daisies are from the Retro Flower Store also by Craftwork Cards.

Special Day

This was made with the new Moorish collection from Craftwork Cards.  Although you can't tell from the scan, I cut a panel from the front of the card and the spotty paper is actually on the inside of the card blank.

The sentiment is a Moorish message and these are made up of two pieces so you can mix and match.  A word of warning though, the top and the bottom of the outside piece are different and if you stick it on the wrong way, the centre piece with the message on won't fit.  Ask me how I know!
