ATC - R

This is the R ATC for my card group - I might just make the deadline this time!  The base of the card is some red pearlescent cardstock from Craftwork Cards.  I used a Fancy Pants stamp to create the background and inked the edges of the card with the same black ink.  I stamped the image onto matching red card using a  heart stamp from Blonde Moments and once dry I cut it out.

Then I stuck the black mat onto the ATC using double sided tape and fastened a piece of black grosgrain ribbon to the centre again using double sided tape. The ends of the ribbon were wrapped round the back of the card and were covered with the backing card.

The final stage was to attach the heart using foam pads and to add Glossy Accents to the larger circles on the heart.

Red, Black and Cream

This was another simple card to make - I love the colour combination and think it looks very effective.

I covered a square card blank with some Glitz and Glamour paper.  Then I used foam pads to stick the Retro Daisy and Spiky Flowers onto the card - I used 2mm ones on the Retro Daisy and 1mm ones on the Spiky Flowers to give different heights.  I positioned the Spiky Flowers so that some of the petals overlapped the edge and then I trimmed off the excess.  Then I added Card Candy to the centres of the three flowers.

The sentiment is an In Circle Message stuck to a punched scallop circle with double sided tape then attached to the card with foam pads.

Squares

This is quite a large card - I used an 8" square Craftwork Cards blank as the base for it.  The 16 squares were embossed using Cuttlebug Embossing Folders then stuck to the card using double sided tape.  I painted the chipboard flower using a black dabber, attached a white die cut flower to the centre using a jewelled brad and stuck the flower to the card with foam pads.

I stamped the sentiment onto white card, mounted this on black then on white again. rounded the corners and attached it to the card with foam pads.

Retro Daisy Handbag

This is a very simple card to make.  I used a latte coloured handbag card blank from Craftwork Cards.  The first thing I did was to stick the Retro Daisies to the handbag using a glue pen.  Rather than sticking full daisies overlapping the edge and cutting off the excess, I cut the daisies in half and stuck the halves on putting the cut edge of the flower against the edge of the card.

I added card candy to the centre of the Retro Daisies, trimming off the excess that was overlapping the edge.  Then I punched some daisies from Ritzy Lime card, stuck them to the card with a glue pen and put self-adhesive crystals in the centres.

This scan doesn't do the card justice as the Ritzy Lime Card Candy and punched daisies look far nicer in real life.

Confetti Gap Card

This was made from two Elegant Rectangles - I scored the back one approximately 3cm front the left hand edge.  Next I layered the ice cream paper onto the latte paper and stuck them onto the front rectangle.  I then cut a section out of the front card as shown, stuck the left hand front piece to the back rectangle (by putting strong double sided tape to the left of the score line) and used a small piece of double sided tape to hold the right hand front piece in place over the back rectangle.

The next step was to stick the two Retro Daisies across the gap using a glue pen (taking care just to put glue on the ends of the petals). To finish off I added Card Candy to the left hand edge and to the centres of the flowers, and then stuck an In Circle Message to a punched scallop circle which I stuck next to the bottom Retro Daisy with foam pads.  Finally I carefully removed the removed the small piece of double sided tape to enable the card to open.

Latte and Ice Cream Elegant Square

I used an Elegant Square card blank from Craftwork Cards for this.   First of all I added a rectangle of latte coloured paper mounted on ice cream paper, then I used foam pads to add the flowers as shown and put mirri gold Card Candy in the centres.

The card is finished off with an In Circle Message on a Heartfelt Message which was stuck to the card with foam pads.

More Confetti and Crystals

This was made using a small square (9.5cm) card blank.  First of all I covered the top section of the card with the latte coloured paper and the bottom section with the marshmallow paper.  Then I cut approximately 1.5cm off the front right hand edge of the card before sticking a 3cm wide strip of ice cream coloured paper to the inside right edge of the card (this doesn't show up too well on the scan).

I punched flowers from the sheet that the In Circle Messages were on, stuck them across the join between the two papers using a glue pen and then put self-adhesive crystals in their centres.

The In Circle message is stuck to a 1 3/8" punched latte circle which in turn is stuck to an ice cream Heartfelt Flower and attached to the card with foam pads.  I attached it so that it overlapped the edge of the card blank to make it a little different.

Confetti and Crystals

This was made using a Craftwork Cards Elegant Rectangle as the base card.  First of all I added the three strips of paper using double sided tape before sticking the marshmallow paper mounted on ice cream paper to the Mini Elegant Rectangle.  I then stuck this to the card using 1mm foam pads.

Next I punched a circle from marshmallow card, stuck the In Circle Message to the centre and then stuck both on the Heartfelt Flower.  I used 2mm foam pads to mount this on the card apart from in the area where the Heartfelt Flower overlaps the Mini Elegant square where I used 1mm pads - this meant that the whole of the Heartfelt flower was raised by 2mm - if I had used 2mm pads on the overlap the Heartfelt flower wouldn't be level.

I didn't have any card to match the In Circle Message so punched the flowers from the edges of the In Circle Message sheet - fortunately the flower is only small.  I used a glue pen to stick the 3 flowers onto the Mini Elegant square and then put self-adhesive crystals in the centres.

Latte Handbag

For this card I used a Latte coloured handbag card from Craftwork Cards and added three strips of Confetti paper.  Then I added a Die Cut Daisy with a Card Candy centre to the middle strip along with two pieces of Card Candy at each end.

I stuck an In Circle Message to the centre of a scallop circle, punched a hole at the top and threaded grosgrain ribbon through it before tying it round the handle of the card.

Red and Black with Glitz and Glamour

I used a small square card blank as the base for this and covered it with one of the Glitz and Glamour papers.  The Spiky Flowers are attached to the card with foam pads and have Card Candy in the centre.   To make this a little different I positioned the flowers so that some of the petals overlap the edges of the card.

The sentiment is an In Circle Message on a punched scallop circle which is attached to the card with foam pads.  This card is very simple but I think it is very effect - I love the red and black combination and the Glitz and Glamour paper.

Confetti for a change ...

This was made using a DL card blank.  I used double sided tape to fasten the papers onto the card and also used double sided tape to stick grosgrain ribbon across the join.

I then stuck a Heartfelt Flower to a Mini Elegant Square using double sided tape before adding two Petal Point Flowers with foam pads and Card Candy to the corners of the square and centre of the flower.  Finally I stuck an In Circle Message to a punched scallop circle and used foam pads to stick it to the bottom right hand corner.

Handbags at Dawn

I chose a marshmallow handbag blank for this card and added a strip of marshmallow Confetti paper mounted on ice cream Confetti paper.  I then added the die cut daisies - the outside two overlapped the edges so I trimmed off the excess.  Finally I added Card Candy to the centres of the daisies.

Black and Lime

I used three of the Glitz and Glamour papers on a small cream card blank.  I love the combination of black and lime so I used black and lime Spiky Flowers and Card Candy too.

Glitz and Glamour and Crystals

The lime card blank is from Craftwork Cards (of course) and I cut an 11cm square of Glitz and Glamour paper with chandeliers on which I then stuck to the card blank with double sided tape.  I stuck one large two small black Spiky Flowers to the top left of the card with foam pads and added cream Card Candy to the centres.

The In Circle message is attached to a punched scallop circle with double sided tape and the scallop circle is attached to the card with foam pads.  To finish off I added self adhesive crystals to the chandeliers.

More Glitz and Glamour

I used a pearlescent hot pink card blank as the base for this and then added three strips of Glitz and Glamour paper in in varying widths.  The die cut daisies are stuck on with foam pads and I curled the petals on them and stuck Card Candy in the centres.

The In Circle message is stuck to a punched scallop circle which was then attached to the card with foam pads.  Finally I added 3 pieces of Card Cady to the top left corner of the card.

Glitz and Glamour

As I've done so many cards recently using Confetti papers I decided to do something different today and chose Glitz and Glamour instead.  I also used a shaped card blank.

First of all I cut an 11cm square of the paper with words on and stuck it to the centre of the card using double sided tape.  I then cut a strip of the dotty paper and stuck it right across the card as shown using double sided tape and trimming off the excess.

I used foam pads to attach the die cut flowers and positioned them so that the two outer overlapped the edges of the card.  Finally I added Card Candy to the daisies and to the top corners of the card.

And again ...

I used a white card blank for this and added Confetti papers from Craftwork Cards.  The die cut flowers are from the most recent Craftwork Cards Flower store - they have Card Candy centres and I also added Card Candy to the diagonally opposite edges.

Confetti Yet Again

This card hasn't scanned very well - there are two other pieces of doily above and below the latte coloured one but they are very pale and aren't showing up.  I think I will try to photograph the card and see if that gives a better image.

I used a DL card blank for the base.  Then I cut a latte coloured doily in half and an ice cream one in half then in half again.  I stuck the two pieces of ice cream doily in the corners and three strips of ice cream Confetti paper across the card.  Then I stuck the latte piece of doily against the centre of the left hand edge of the card.

I added Card Candy to the latte coloured doily and to the top right corner of the card.  Finally I used a Heartfelt Flower with an In Circle message to finish off the card.

Just Because

I've used the new Confetti collection from Craftwork Cards yet again for this card.  The base card is an Elegant Rectangle scored down the centre.  I added a piece of latte coloured paper foiled in gold before using foam pads to stick down the die cut daisy and the Petal Point flowers, all of which have Card Candy centres.

Finally I stuck an In Circle message to a Heartfelt Flower and mounted this onto the card using foam pads for dimension.

Confetti Collection Again

I've used Confetti papers from Craftwork Cards again on this card along with one the Confetti Doilies which I cut in half and then in half again before sticking to diagonally opposite corners of the card.   I used foam pads to stick die cut daisies onto the doilies and also put a piece of Card Candy into the centre of each daisy.

Finally I added three more pieces of Card Candy to the top and bottom strips of paper.

Thinking of You

Here is another card using Elegant Rectangles and Confetti papers from Craftwork Cards.  I mounted a strip of latte coloured paper onto marshmallow paper and stuck both across the front of the card.  Then I added two die cut daisies with Card Candy in the centres and used a Heartfelt Flower in the middle of the two daisies with an In Circle message in its centre - simples!

Best Wishes

Here is another card which I have made using the new Confetti collection from Craftwork Cards.

I started with a pearlescent white card blank and added the latte and marshmallow papers to it, tying the ribbon around the marshmallow paper before sticking it down.  I attached the bottom two Petal Point Flowers with a glue pen so that they were flat on the card.  Then I used foam pads to add the top two which gave the card dimension.  To finish off both flowers I added a piece of marshmallow Card Candy.

I stuck an In Circle message to the centre of a Heartfelt Flower using double sided tabe and then used foam pads to adhere it to the card.

Confetti

I used two Elegant Rectangles from Craftwork Cards as the base for this.  The papers are from the Craftwork Cards Confetti collection which was launched recently and the flowers are from their most recent Flower Store.  I stuck the bottom flower of each pair to the card using a glue pen and then used foam pads to stick the top flowers on before adding a piece of Card Candy to the centre of each.

To finish off I punched a scalloped oval and added an oval message to the centre of it.

Q is for ......

Here is my Q ATC - I chose QWERTY (as in keyboard) for my theme.  I used another sheet of the paper from Costco to cover the ATC blanks and then stamped the typewriter randomly using Stazon Stone Grey ink. I also used the same pad to ink the edges.

The main image was stamped on the reverse of the patterned paper used for the front and then mounted on black pearlescent card (Craftwork Cards of course).  I used double sided pads to mount this panel onto the ATC.

Next job is the R ATCs - I can't decide between 'Resist' or 'Red' at the moment although in the end I will no doubt decide on something completely different.

P is for Paw

Here is my Alphabet ATC for P - somewhat late but better late ..........

I covered the front of the ATC blank with some patterned paper that I got from Costco a couple of years ago.  The paw is stamped using Stone Grey Stazon ink and I inked the edges of the ATC using the same ink.  I used my Mac 'n' Cheese dies to cut the letters and then finished off the the ATC with two pieces of Card Candy from Craftwork Cards.

Happy Birthday

Here is my first birthday card of 2011. I have used a DL card blank covered with Confetti papers from Craftwork Cards.  The Petal Point Flowers and Heartfelt Flower are also from Craftwork Cards and I added a piece of Card Candy to the centre.

The join between the two papers is covered with cream grosgrain ribbon and I used a Craftwork Cards Elegance Message to finish off the card.

The Confetti papers are really lovely and are also available foiled in white.  Although I didn't use any on this card there are also some fabulous Mini Elegant Squares which are part of this collection.

Happy New Year!

Here is a New Year card which I have made for a friend.  I used some My Mind's Eye papers which I bought from Craftwork Cards a few months ago.  The numbers are die cut using my Mac 'n' Cheese dies.

I even decorated the inside of the card with some of the paper used on the front, a punched scallop oval and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.
