<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's been a long time since I posted but here we go. This is a card which I made back in October - it's an 8" by 8" box frame card using the Scrumptious collection by <a href="http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/" target="_blank">Craftwork Cards</a>. This collection has been around for a while now but I still love it and luckily still have a little stash of it!</div>

Here is a close up of the flowers. I've added Stickles glitter glue to the centres of the little spiral flowers.<br />

That's all for now but I'd love to know what you think about this so please do leave some comments.<br />

These are fun and easy to make and look really impressive.<br />
<br />
Here's a birthday card which I made using the Flower Shop kit. This kit contains printed paper panels which you cut out and add to the box. There are also die cut flowers and two different sizes of pop up box - this one is made with the larger of the two.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHChkWrSGt4vAZKb38hRwNlZNwpgDGbx3IvBdCDEx0DcecOSGydsdX0LHno3pCTCrI9giNAuBhyphenhyphenKOojw0DetYRK16BvAS2oP7503EccuLxQv-3sAkFnT9fv8doVK3iPNGnwtQZKBQJgzA/s1600/Pop+Up+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHChkWrSGt4vAZKb38hRwNlZNwpgDGbx3IvBdCDEx0DcecOSGydsdX0LHno3pCTCrI9giNAuBhyphenhyphenKOojw0DetYRK16BvAS2oP7503EccuLxQv-3sAkFnT9fv8doVK3iPNGnwtQZKBQJgzA/s1600/Pop+Up+1.jpg" height="320" width="222" /></a></div>
<br />
I also used some die cut white flowers in addition to the coloured ones in the kit.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbX43GeHLoTpWXXzryeVfHDjDX116S6A0ZzUsbrl4_y9Ca39fDRRUqeZAXWqT-lfpF3KTyO6rdY67YrK1oK4W5VB3inqbIQ_LXrz1GBMYyqpenxbiAmAyC9h2Gpm1RVM-HTCmd3vEWRIw/s1600/Pop+Up+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbX43GeHLoTpWXXzryeVfHDjDX116S6A0ZzUsbrl4_y9Ca39fDRRUqeZAXWqT-lfpF3KTyO6rdY67YrK1oK4W5VB3inqbIQ_LXrz1GBMYyqpenxbiAmAyC9h2Gpm1RVM-HTCmd3vEWRIw/s1600/Pop+Up+2.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I added Stickles glitter glue to the centre of the Candi to give the card some extra sparkle.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrafSy0OzEmN4MsTw58M8rIy2M6mnkQ1Nl4R2aSARDwOb3FdY700UHMrkfx6q0KMhS4fovTqHmDw2OQiedG7Vp2E0jmfh-4d67RVsyXekIUQRgDE1vqTZhbPP5uS2D9HUx9FIC-bsq5vY/s1600/Pop+Up+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrafSy0OzEmN4MsTw58M8rIy2M6mnkQ1Nl4R2aSARDwOb3FdY700UHMrkfx6q0KMhS4fovTqHmDw2OQiedG7Vp2E0jmfh-4d67RVsyXekIUQRgDE1vqTZhbPP5uS2D9HUx9FIC-bsq5vY/s1600/Pop+Up+3.jpg" height="320" width="213" /></a></div>
<br />
The beauty of these cards is that they fold flat to go into an envelope and so the recipient gets a lovely surprise when they open up the boxes.Kath Woodshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16834655612309677133noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1777540623227590830.post-10397162542621304332014-02-05T00:30:00.000+00:002014-02-05T00:30:00.321+00:00Long Time, No Post!I can't believe it's been so long since I posted! I'm sharing a birthday card today which I have made for a friend using the <a href="http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/products/by-category/2/128/opulence.html" target="_blank">Opulence Collection</a> from Craftwork Cards. This is a really versatile selection and is suitable for men's cards too which is always a bonus.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgXhk6X4RQBTGP7MGgAhB3Rz3WGPFc_FlDIeGQ9GMnk8n_-3pOnZ5K7HUOH0xfC5L_PIgs7saV4Bb4V2V2CoU3uaXuLd5S0Jl1U1uNRML52gjYIhUwC_UoHESGRbm5c3V2Os9WLMAR1r8/s1600/GT1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgXhk6X4RQBTGP7MGgAhB3Rz3WGPFc_FlDIeGQ9GMnk8n_-3pOnZ5K7HUOH0xfC5L_PIgs7saV4Bb4V2V2CoU3uaXuLd5S0Jl1U1uNRML52gjYIhUwC_UoHESGRbm5c3V2Os9WLMAR1r8/s1600/GT1.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I cut my own bunting and added letters from the collection to it. The letters are attached with foam pads to give a little depth.<br />
<br />
Here's a picture of one of the pin wheels - the image doesn't show this but the numbers are cut from card which is actually embossed with a paisley patter so it works well with the papers.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEIXIxB_rDpJSpAweVizmJ8CKJXUeg79JQY-CUJ3BTrG25xZ-THxMya8l0OqtI1Ee4Y3qS7ZiWhJ_r0QwDC9aCNfbrYbAwZcEVwMbjLBT69qk4JKCcyJta1QpFYVLapl0ggG14BcmGPbo/s1600/GT2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEIXIxB_rDpJSpAweVizmJ8CKJXUeg79JQY-CUJ3BTrG25xZ-THxMya8l0OqtI1Ee4Y3qS7ZiWhJ_r0QwDC9aCNfbrYbAwZcEVwMbjLBT69qk4JKCcyJta1QpFYVLapl0ggG14BcmGPbo/s1600/GT2.jpg" height="223" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I'll no doubt be in trouble when this is received but Happy Birthday Gary, hope you have a great day xx<br />
<br />
That's all from me for now but I will post again very soon.<br />

Hi Everyone,<br>
<br>
It's Kath here from the Craftwork Cards UK Design Team and I'm sharing my creations made for the Create a Wreath Blog Hop. You'll have arrived here from Barb Craft's post using the beautiful Bohemian Create a Wreath Kit on the <a href="http://craftworkcardscandi.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #97759b;"><strong>USA Blog</strong></span></a>.<br>
<br>
I've made two wreaths using this gorgeous Mr and Mrs kit.<br>
<br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiugGaomJlUpyrvDTnbBrlLLkBEyd590-pF51zpw9T-L51lyiUsTYRWJe5QlyBDAoBMCAppdvRvZN4ELTSFjtKO5-JTM3kgshtLMLQNA057NBx1HhsQWa4fFAH7uoITvUQxcyDIBh6xv_c/s1600/Create+a+Wreath+Mr+and+Mrs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiugGaomJlUpyrvDTnbBrlLLkBEyd590-pF51zpw9T-L51lyiUsTYRWJe5QlyBDAoBMCAppdvRvZN4ELTSFjtKO5-JTM3kgshtLMLQNA057NBx1HhsQWa4fFAH7uoITvUQxcyDIBh6xv_c/s320/Create+a+Wreath+Mr+and+Mrs.jpg" height="320" width="296"></a></div>
<br>
<br>
The first one is relatively simple - a less is more creation:<br>
<br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheqKXDM4GgtuPW7cLhSM82sCuginwAZKRw0EPSUJ6gCZoiRhFkt4ZsG5F_QenKhmqBrLkwLq2TUuFR_mGlJa7_n1a99ybDEFUsLJYYjWz2br1kUSFRbJVI9Vg34V8ukR-bGOob3Z_qhrs/s1600/Blog+Hop+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheqKXDM4GgtuPW7cLhSM82sCuginwAZKRw0EPSUJ6gCZoiRhFkt4ZsG5F_QenKhmqBrLkwLq2TUuFR_mGlJa7_n1a99ybDEFUsLJYYjWz2br1kUSFRbJVI9Vg34V8ukR-bGOob3Z_qhrs/s320/Blog+Hop+1.jpg" height="320" width="262"></a></div>
<br>
<br>
I covered the chipboard heart with the patterned papers included in the kit and used a piece of Cut and Dry Foam with Black Soot Distress Ink to colour the edges. I attached the small flowers with a glue pen and added Candi to the centres. I'd normally bend the petals upwards but the flowers are covering the holes through which you can attach ribbon so I couldn't do that this time.<br>
<br>
The focal point of the wreath is a layered bloom made up of four flowers from the kit and I added a pearl to the centre of the spiral flower. Here's a close up:<br>
<br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpZWPfo8-djrVofij5vfi8T1ruEqZA3fYZVxGmCCibqnhYZLJlPW6qmcDpYlVT8FxgGdTXEdRXIyuXKd63w77fKhnFPGqXUrpnBPIYn9zWdNBPT4mUfdXLr8TI-ZjDLUu4vpXMf5Yw_60/s1600/Blog+Hop+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpZWPfo8-djrVofij5vfi8T1ruEqZA3fYZVxGmCCibqnhYZLJlPW6qmcDpYlVT8FxgGdTXEdRXIyuXKd63w77fKhnFPGqXUrpnBPIYn9zWdNBPT4mUfdXLr8TI-ZjDLUu4vpXMf5Yw_60/s320/Blog+Hop+2.jpg" height="320" width="273"></a></div>
<br>
<br>
For my second wreath I wanted to show you how you can completely change the look of the kits by colouring the die cuts. Each kit contains enough die cuts to create two wreaths but I got a bit carried away here and used almost a full kit's worth of flowers to create one wreath - less is more went out of the window on this one!<br>
<br>
I sprayed the backs of all of the flowers with a Purple Pansy Glimmer Mist spray and when I had layered them together I used an Ink Duster to colour them with Dusty Concord Distress Ink. To add some shimmer and sparkle I sprayed the finished wreath with Silver Spray and Sparkle.<br>
<br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I've made this card using the gorgeous new <a href="http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/products/search.html?search=Tea%20Dance" target="_blank">Tea Dance Collection</a> from Craftwork Cards. Here's a close up to show the detail on the bloom. I used an ink duster to add Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink to all of the blooms and then sprayed with gold Spray and Sparkle.<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOJ9qCjcd_vrrDYN1JZMqeBX1EIc_fgRQ6awlA5NJUDizxWAJoHaCd3SwmVVd31dOM5cPl-9bhMaFbKVhVN9kUk6D6kTOemTIlnTjT2SH64HkqeUV8tUS1sIM7ql8wUMGA5-A2EbiPhLc/s1600/120513-8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOJ9qCjcd_vrrDYN1JZMqeBX1EIc_fgRQ6awlA5NJUDizxWAJoHaCd3SwmVVd31dOM5cPl-9bhMaFbKVhVN9kUk6D6kTOemTIlnTjT2SH64HkqeUV8tUS1sIM7ql8wUMGA5-A2EbiPhLc/s320/120513-8.jpg" width="318" /></a></div>
<br />
Here's a close up of the flower:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg71a06EjXZl_fW3ZVSvoNaUtmaVBKxZmwWjS5-UpoeO77DplXEYiOfzOVmq0L7lRbZPitsDnpVTyLvUse2JL0CU5Cx1LXFV4nADORt6xPbTl0AWO6Ne5VwurPosK6WyhlLPVR3y3V3kyw/s1600/120513-9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="251" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg71a06EjXZl_fW3ZVSvoNaUtmaVBKxZmwWjS5-UpoeO77DplXEYiOfzOVmq0L7lRbZPitsDnpVTyLvUse2JL0CU5Cx1LXFV4nADORt6xPbTl0AWO6Ne5VwurPosK6WyhlLPVR3y3V3kyw/s320/120513-9.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
To make the flower I used two flowers layered on top of each other. Each petal was scored down the centre and folded to give dimension. For the curly centre I used two the flowers with long petals, Cut down the centre of each petal and curled each piece, the left one in one direction and the right one in the other. I then stuck one flower inside the other and attached to the bigger flowers.<br />
<br />
You can't see from the image but I did spray the whole flower with silver Spray and Sparkle.Kath Woodshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16834655612309677133noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1777540623227590830.post-40054680036237090182013-05-14T08:30:00.000+01:002013-05-14T08:30:00.313+01:00Julie's Delightful DaisiesI've had these for a while but haven't used them until now to make this card:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCZ5b4aePwn5EA66iBS89QLFiQjojVbMvw7pGPgmmSAG35cJGm2nfvNEcYCo2CZGJSv3nZJbh5BSZKNV6gi8kMgENKO1ypuHtQaZVas3m_kkp-vvQeTEzI3LebwcnWvoseeaFsFBoz4Sk/s1600/120513-12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="309" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCZ5b4aePwn5EA66iBS89QLFiQjojVbMvw7pGPgmmSAG35cJGm2nfvNEcYCo2CZGJSv3nZJbh5BSZKNV6gi8kMgENKO1ypuHtQaZVas3m_kkp-vvQeTEzI3LebwcnWvoseeaFsFBoz4Sk/s320/120513-12.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The daisies are pre-printed onto a 6 by 6 square of white card which I attached to front of a 6 by 6 card blank after I had embellished them. I used Pro-Markers to colour some of the flowers and circles, added Candi and crystals to some and Retro Daisies to the large three.<br />
<br />
The spine of this card is at the top and I scored horizontally across the back of the card before sticking the top half of the front and back together. I'm not sure that makes sense but the image below should illustrate what I am trying to say:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRcLmv8muHODxz00Ot11tNA0jbBofKL1pFkPeHjoVN97hLg_gDlFV7TvSafPFkxl9uwsT6OsNzBGfROuRp4EElZLHMJHkYAqmSRJf1sN8uiq_C3A8kKz9_cJLzpq0RmGRR374o0FX7pls/s1600/120513-13.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRcLmv8muHODxz00Ot11tNA0jbBofKL1pFkPeHjoVN97hLg_gDlFV7TvSafPFkxl9uwsT6OsNzBGfROuRp4EElZLHMJHkYAqmSRJf1sN8uiq_C3A8kKz9_cJLzpq0RmGRR374o0FX7pls/s320/120513-13.jpg" width="310" /></a></div>
<br />
This means the card stands at an angle like a frame. I added a birthday sentiment inside the card.<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm1EMZyeLZXdpT7pu4WymZDJgBZKI4P0yV4CSdlb01JD7hu8scOXI5GnMqRBd30uO2Dj8AjtcxH5vSP40B3G7y241KPUgxW9xnxMBIUGKj0Gxjsv_85wGMm1cu-QMxVdGEw403xEzfdwA/s1600/120513-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="312" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm1EMZyeLZXdpT7pu4WymZDJgBZKI4P0yV4CSdlb01JD7hu8scOXI5GnMqRBd30uO2Dj8AjtcxH5vSP40B3G7y241KPUgxW9xnxMBIUGKj0Gxjsv_85wGMm1cu-QMxVdGEw403xEzfdwA/s320/120513-1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped both images using Black Soot Distress Ink and added Candi, pearls and crystals to fill the circles. The leaves are paper pieced and I finished the card off by tying some black grosgrain ribbon round the spine.<br />
<br />
There is another set of these called Felicity and they too are lovely. Here is a link to <a href="http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/products/search.html?search=bubble%20bloom" target="_blank">both sets</a>.Kath Woodshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16834655612309677133noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1777540623227590830.post-56194605084578490822013-04-15T08:30:00.000+01:002013-04-15T08:30:04.856+01:00Two of the GirlsThese are the final two cards which I made for Craftwork Cards.<br />
<br />
Part of the Dolly Mixtures collection by Craftwork Cards comprises postcards of the three girls who make up the collection, Amy, Coleen and Cheryl. These are great for colouring in with ProMarkers, Copics etc. I don't really 'do' colouring in as I always seem to find that whatever I do looks a mess! But... I coloured in part of Amy and it didn't look too bad. Here is the finished card:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQ4sZUK0Eh21uY1IOg9qM6l1B79hKy-E6QxaISFDHzoGVxFzeZ6RoYgx7qhIqZ-i2M5vqynHP07jNS9hWY8EF2rM867swPmdNksSeKgojTWJZ_wjBln8yXmgcE1XRjBUUgYX-TghgKPwo/s1600/Ally+Pally+6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="312" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQ4sZUK0Eh21uY1IOg9qM6l1B79hKy-E6QxaISFDHzoGVxFzeZ6RoYgx7qhIqZ-i2M5vqynHP07jNS9hWY8EF2rM867swPmdNksSeKgojTWJZ_wjBln8yXmgcE1XRjBUUgYX-TghgKPwo/s320/Ally+Pally+6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I wasn't brave enough to colour Amy's dress but then I coloured in Cheryl and decided to go for it! Here is the card I made:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbkOLJsBfTx7ddo4I6TOJlUEIakp_Mz-bWlt0_zNV7yNNV3g_1dL5HK9ff4uJ2E1dCHu4PJfkNB-AW7vrWJK_SEABPVbs04IcZgod_X3FhDGS0h84Ii56XnAtqMujtNneFSjv2NHWDpT0/s1600/Ally+Pally+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbkOLJsBfTx7ddo4I6TOJlUEIakp_Mz-bWlt0_zNV7yNNV3g_1dL5HK9ff4uJ2E1dCHu4PJfkNB-AW7vrWJK_SEABPVbs04IcZgod_X3FhDGS0h84Ii56XnAtqMujtNneFSjv2NHWDpT0/s320/Ally+Pally+3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The colouring is nowhere near as good as it could be but I don't think it's too bad. There are lots of videos on You Tube that are worth watching but I guess the old saying practice makes perfect is relevant here!<br />
<br />
<br />Kath Woodshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16834655612309677133noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1777540623227590830.post-42859950095446741952013-04-14T08:30:00.000+01:002013-04-14T08:30:00.357+01:00Little Scottie DogsHere are three more of the samples which I made for Craftwork Cards to display this weekend. All three feature the gorgeous scottie dog die cuts and Dolly Mixtures goodies.<br />
<br />
I love the coat on this card:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiw6NtYX_BGZmJ2w3fDhmJaB6g4MIc-cnr52j7gYOj1jJJsd8fTkBde5Jkge8s96qVJLiTjb-8aPokkbEwu-oyKHeYpDrswdbtJV2Tk3NQ3l7S0VqiLRMhAmUYRhEr5bIek7RY11juXDi8/s1600/Ally+Pally+5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="164" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiw6NtYX_BGZmJ2w3fDhmJaB6g4MIc-cnr52j7gYOj1jJJsd8fTkBde5Jkge8s96qVJLiTjb-8aPokkbEwu-oyKHeYpDrswdbtJV2Tk3NQ3l7S0VqiLRMhAmUYRhEr5bIek7RY11juXDi8/s320/Ally+Pally+5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Next I used a kraft card blank and lots of crushed Candi.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiu29ZNzPmhrVHFrjytJk8jVc5GQdmCAD_6190keILWocvwQFsZCgBCxe3oJdxxnDapHSiCWaUDcGayjKOk3srTWoMDL3qCzMpSw_NlYHE4QKFGKgsvFxVxqOZz7KiLiNkVisiJUgn19_c/s1600/Ally+Pally+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="254" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiu29ZNzPmhrVHFrjytJk8jVc5GQdmCAD_6190keILWocvwQFsZCgBCxe3oJdxxnDapHSiCWaUDcGayjKOk3srTWoMDL3qCzMpSw_NlYHE4QKFGKgsvFxVxqOZz7KiLiNkVisiJUgn19_c/s320/Ally+Pally+1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Here's a close up to show the detail:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7zF2PoW7bNJI3tAoCjZnsIRaHHAv4s_H5Z3SyxqyRdlZdgRmwVIOIlrjHi9OVN9mVJxmVZrjSzTdd4xHo84I0MDuwjmbhDvkWxpGK2Sky-U5rlhgRx9cB9cH3PebPQOgYpjSCknfUXbw/s1600/Ally+Pally+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="230" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7zF2PoW7bNJI3tAoCjZnsIRaHHAv4s_H5Z3SyxqyRdlZdgRmwVIOIlrjHi9OVN9mVJxmVZrjSzTdd4xHo84I0MDuwjmbhDvkWxpGK2Sky-U5rlhgRx9cB9cH3PebPQOgYpjSCknfUXbw/s320/Ally+Pally+2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Finally another kraft blank. I cut away part of the front of this card and the tartan paper at the right is actually inside the card:<br />

I used some kraft Candi on this card - I spotted it in clearance on the Craftwork Cards website and it's really nice so get some while you still can!Kath Woodshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16834655612309677133noreply@blogger.com119tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1777540623227590830.post-4063634122926097422013-04-13T08:30:00.000+01:002013-04-13T08:30:06.316+01:00Pen HolderHere are some pictures of a pen holder which I made from an empty coffee tin and some Dolly Mixtures products.<br />

I made this using a kraft blank from Craftwork Cards and two of these <a href="http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/products/3134/assorted-kraft-flowers.html" target="_blank">kraft flowers</a>. I used the pieces which I popped out of the petals on the large flower to create a third flower. The sentiment is an In Circle message and I finished the card off with some Candi.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhr4D1E58BSpeE0FcLao4LTksW3s3jqoMI4Gl3mpUXycao4GyEnIVYHNckuoV9tYyRnT0932aIkGYoK8OCsdbuIbG2DyOWukYcg1IPT49O9iUkejLsH_SjrjKpO9k3v0hrscnnFVGF-yZE/s1600/270313+-+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="247" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhr4D1E58BSpeE0FcLao4LTksW3s3jqoMI4Gl3mpUXycao4GyEnIVYHNckuoV9tYyRnT0932aIkGYoK8OCsdbuIbG2DyOWukYcg1IPT49O9iUkejLsH_SjrjKpO9k3v0hrscnnFVGF-yZE/s320/270313+-+1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For my second card I used paper from the Flower Fusion Paper Pack - the flowers were cut using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die. I added crushed Candi round the the edges of a black and silver frame before attaching the flowers to the frame and adding more crushed Candi to form the centre of the flower. Again the sentiment is an In Circle message.</div>

Unfortunately I didn't get a good full picture of this hanging up but here are photos of the three individual flowers. Each of these was made by gluing three kraft flowers together. I made the curly centres by using one of the kraft flowers with long petals, cutting down the centre of each petal and then twisting them. I then attached small die cut flowers (Tim Holtz - Tattered Florals die) to the centres of the curly flowers and added a piece of crushed Candi to finish them off.<br />
<br />
The three completed flowers are attached together with twine and I threaded this through several pieces of Candi above each flower.<br />

<br />
Here is one of the flowers laid on its side so you can see the dimension of it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibsWZxrNlJcgm8xbafIaGeUqMYb2MLX-4rcteblJw3NkvV2s_6ibO-qL2aTYcJOG_uEtF6sjVgcqEi98X7sri-cGPuj_H0OH4aOS13Wjp5rMrXclbvIW6ekUSRv6kctm3fp0MzCTVZuQE/s1600/270313+-+7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="273" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibsWZxrNlJcgm8xbafIaGeUqMYb2MLX-4rcteblJw3NkvV2s_6ibO-qL2aTYcJOG_uEtF6sjVgcqEi98X7sri-cGPuj_H0OH4aOS13Wjp5rMrXclbvIW6ekUSRv6kctm3fp0MzCTVZuQE/s320/270313+-+7.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And finally a picture of the whole thing laid down:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyDZX8kA8eNDfpDNBGT5CLuHaUj9VtfCXT-RWN2XZdNuxrOQQYnEO5mpafR7p8tutAe6FsyFmIGpEMBr-gwc3Bp0C71xjsP2RELpJJ1l3vQiKq1LcrvAmi3rbD6gPWqIZQX2GGmTPlqvo/s1600/270313+-+8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyDZX8kA8eNDfpDNBGT5CLuHaUj9VtfCXT-RWN2XZdNuxrOQQYnEO5mpafR7p8tutAe6FsyFmIGpEMBr-gwc3Bp0C71xjsP2RELpJJ1l3vQiKq1LcrvAmi3rbD6gPWqIZQX2GGmTPlqvo/s320/270313+-+8.jpg" width="208" /></a></div>
<br />
I must say I was very pleased with this - I had a 'lightbulb moment' in the middle of the night about sticking the the flowers together to create something dimensional!Kath Woodshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16834655612309677133noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1777540623227590830.post-52259918959334683852013-03-30T21:14:00.001+00:002013-03-30T21:14:47.525+00:00Tunnel CardI made this using one of the new <a href="http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/products/search.html?search=tunnel%20card%20pack" target="_blank">tunnel card</a>s from Craftwork Cards:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzDPagYE3FF3zguCeS_PbAwenkl6xlaFWYb4MZ9MO4DFwCJj24X3nNJN1w9t4MldCLMfB0gzfcBQ95sS2XIkUmCqRIKRFHWh1PmK5aaLDlCzzDL_3FCz3pEOyvjTB7UHv2NIoLjuH6ATI/s1600/Tunnel+A.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzDPagYE3FF3zguCeS_PbAwenkl6xlaFWYb4MZ9MO4DFwCJj24X3nNJN1w9t4MldCLMfB0gzfcBQ95sS2XIkUmCqRIKRFHWh1PmK5aaLDlCzzDL_3FCz3pEOyvjTB7UHv2NIoLjuH6ATI/s320/Tunnel+A.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I also used <a href="http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/products/3134/assorted-kraft-flowers.html" target="_blank">kraft flowers</a> and some papers from the <a href="http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/products/3133/flower-fusion-paper-pack.html" target="_blank">Flower Fusion Paper Pack</a>. The centre of the large flower was made from two of the flowers with the long petals - I cut down the centres of each petal and twisted them.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNwJQVRAGEOelOxG7DJh5x2aXlb8dz8oZ30zQlFbSatYNJ0veGM_UzIWkl9dxyuIp0FfdRrtbafg-4pqN2u3ngJrSfcLGh4139mXioGcvzxSH7Zzv-byG6fHd51CS4vwoNcx11ZAd_zDk/s1600/Tunnel+B.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="299" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNwJQVRAGEOelOxG7DJh5x2aXlb8dz8oZ30zQlFbSatYNJ0veGM_UzIWkl9dxyuIp0FfdRrtbafg-4pqN2u3ngJrSfcLGh4139mXioGcvzxSH7Zzv-byG6fHd51CS4vwoNcx11ZAd_zDk/s320/Tunnel+B.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
It doesn't show up too well on the photos but I coloured some of the flowers with an Ink Duster and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.<br />

First up is the card:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhu-PUTYy2qkwrxlKn52smq9ab4mYT5Vqg8M9CGYqtxZRHtsqfyedrs2_oe2X8S7e3saNxO-uXosOGb9gbMbranv60Nd_RS7Aa4EsO4rrQ7c7BwMjyo3mAUHueTr5a6zYIMmRHEM6a7z1Y/s1600/Tess+Card+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhu-PUTYy2qkwrxlKn52smq9ab4mYT5Vqg8M9CGYqtxZRHtsqfyedrs2_oe2X8S7e3saNxO-uXosOGb9gbMbranv60Nd_RS7Aa4EsO4rrQ7c7BwMjyo3mAUHueTr5a6zYIMmRHEM6a7z1Y/s320/Tess+Card+1.jpg" width="287" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
The card is made from a bird house blank to which I added lots of Chantilly Olive crushed Candi with a dot of Stickles glitter glue in the centre of each. I used the Printer's Blocks stamps and Dusty Concord Distress Ink to create the 'mum' sentiment.<br />
<br />
Here's a closer look of Tess peeping through the aperture:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYMA3tDid89P7CKwbLohfi2SIwQQGwBgDC5IDb2LZ7v60nd99jf35A-MYc-t7TLuZnk-q14dQJgVNXPS5V3sQGIcfwYdyYzLxMhLEQo4UsAhesl7GmEiWN32ZmT3i1RBX_PP5LCO1_MFw/s1600/Tess+Card+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="261" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYMA3tDid89P7CKwbLohfi2SIwQQGwBgDC5IDb2LZ7v60nd99jf35A-MYc-t7TLuZnk-q14dQJgVNXPS5V3sQGIcfwYdyYzLxMhLEQo4UsAhesl7GmEiWN32ZmT3i1RBX_PP5LCO1_MFw/s320/Tess+Card+2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The flowers round the aperture were part of the Bohemian Wreath kit. There's enough flowers in a kit to make 2 wreaths but I like lots of layers on my flowers and used almost all of the flowers on this wreath. I did have a few spare though and so used them on this card. <br />
<br />
Here is a picture of the wreath:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwvYgxiJo8I8bCVN-M8FHzI7Z0C7l03_b-MrpT_kyq2ibORfXe1Au5l_YJ0d7bKMJpsmGzyKxVi1uE51r3zEmY7uOCpvHBJkBfapBfSN4o6Mb-bYaqypxVBuVZUXUxxV7KjpupaXuhYc4/s1600/Tess+Wreath+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwvYgxiJo8I8bCVN-M8FHzI7Z0C7l03_b-MrpT_kyq2ibORfXe1Au5l_YJ0d7bKMJpsmGzyKxVi1uE51r3zEmY7uOCpvHBJkBfapBfSN4o6Mb-bYaqypxVBuVZUXUxxV7KjpupaXuhYc4/s320/Tess+Wreath+1.jpg" width="316" /></a></div>
<br />
In real life the colours are more like the close ups of the blooms below:<br />

It doesn't show up too well on the photos but the finished wreath is shimmery and sparkly - I sprayed it with silver Spray and Sparkle.<br />

<br />
I used a Sizzix die to cut a heart shape from kraft card and covered it with crushed Candi before spraying with Spray and Sparkle.<br />
<br />
The wording was created using Printer's Blocks stamps and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. I cut each letter out by hand and attached to the card with foam pads. To finish off I added some seam binding which I had sprayed with water, scrunched up and allowed to dry.<br />
<br />
Here is a close up of the heart:<br />

<br />
I crushed the coloured Candi using a thick foam mat and an embossing tool. The brown Candi was squashed using my fingers and I stuck it on upside down, then added a dot of Platinum Stickles to the centre of each piece. Here is a close-up of the coloured Candi:<br />

Here is my first creation:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTThWLA78G98-6Ydd3qkc3hJtnTM7zl_lQUCJb7nijfK95c2bgaKudQ5bGgsoCkq-XWCLa7jnTKfGSf7fUT39cFEJxu56mtHQAhZKhpucAKwBnN-Szl-L3qC7iMr6TA68VpSNkidKko1g/s1600/Heart+wreath+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="311" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTThWLA78G98-6Ydd3qkc3hJtnTM7zl_lQUCJb7nijfK95c2bgaKudQ5bGgsoCkq-XWCLa7jnTKfGSf7fUT39cFEJxu56mtHQAhZKhpucAKwBnN-Szl-L3qC7iMr6TA68VpSNkidKko1g/s320/Heart+wreath+1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
There is ribbon in the kit but I used some of my own for this wreath. The backs of all of the flowers were sprayed using Dylusions inks and I sprayed the finished article with gold Spray and Sparkle. I must confess that I used all of the die cuts from this colour scheme as I like lots of layers on my blooms!<br />
<br />
Here are a few close ups of the flowers:<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPUjr1X-W0ZN70q0bUCmxlNXBpbJzyqh0xv5ARiauueziyh8kCi1YmfMURadvJa1dwGxTbs-vd1wVcE_dZvbGn6oSlakFo5Jvl9EXZo_9mFj5RKcjp0UwLDbOhLJ-Otzg1H2jaaXUAHy8/s1600/With+Love+0113.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPUjr1X-W0ZN70q0bUCmxlNXBpbJzyqh0xv5ARiauueziyh8kCi1YmfMURadvJa1dwGxTbs-vd1wVcE_dZvbGn6oSlakFo5Jvl9EXZo_9mFj5RKcjp0UwLDbOhLJ-Otzg1H2jaaXUAHy8/s320/With+Love+0113.jpg" width="318" /></a></div><br />
I've used a 6 by 6 kraft blank and added two hearts cut from Bohemian papers. I scrunched up the front one and then rubbed over it with Distress Ink.<br />
<br />
The wording was stamped with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink using the Printer's Blocks stamp which are my favourite stamps at the moment. I crushed the Candi and stuck it on upside down using glue before adding pearls to the centre of each one. <br />
<br />
Doesn't the kraft card work well with the Bohemian papers?Kath Woodshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16834655612309677133noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1777540623227590830.post-30993859217381098052013-01-05T08:30:00.000+00:002013-01-05T08:30:03.617+00:00Curly Whirly WreathI just love the curly whirly flowers from Craftwork Cards and so had to have a go at making a curly whirly wreath!<br />
<br />
This was made using the <a href="http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/products/2982/curly-whirly-candle-ring-sweet-pea.html" target="_blank">Curly Whirly Candle Ring</a> in Sweet Pea. I sprayed the back of all of the flowers with a purple Glimmer Mist spray and was quite surprised by how much this changed the overall appearance of the finished wreath. Rather than using the ribbon in the kit I used some purple and cream seam binding and this also changed the overall look.<br />
<br />

<br />
Here are a couple of close ups showing the detail on the flowers:<br />

<br />
I sprayed the finished wreath with silver Spray and Sparkle to make it more durable and to give it a shimmery finish.<br />
