Merry Christmas
Here is a Christmas card which I made for my cousin and her husband. I make them one every year with a cow on! The rubber stamp is one that I have had for years - I think it came from Blade Rubber.
Card blank, and the black and white card are from Craftwork Cards as is the In-Circle message. I used a Copic marker to colour the cow's udder. The card was simple to make but it looks very effective.

Black and Cream Birthday
Here is a birthday card which I made a couple of weeks ago. I used a pearlescent cream card blank from Craftwork Cards and papers from the Allsorts collection also by Craftwork Cards.
The centre panel of the card was attached using foam pads to add some dimension as was the scalloped circle. I finished the card off with 3 pieces of black Card Candy.

Happy Halloween
I don't think I've made a Halloween card before but I suppose there's a first time for everything. I made this one for a friend who will know who they are when they receive it!
I've used Craftwork cards Ritzy cardstock and some Craftwork Cards black pearlescent cardstock. I punched the scalloped oval with a Stampin' Up punch and added a Craftwork Cards oval message to the centre. This was stuck onto the card with foam pads to add a little dimension.

ATC - O
This time I chose 'Orange' as my theme. I started off with some orange background paper and overstamped it using A Field of Sky stamp and Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink then inked the edges with the same ink. I cut the flower using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die and painted over it using Spiced Marmalade Distress Crackle Paint. When it had dried I overstamped using a Fancy Pants background stamp.
The flower is stuck onto the card using foam pads to give a little dimension. Finally I added Card Candy to the centre of the flower and to diagonally opposite corners of the ATC. I used orange glitter glue on the Card Candy in the centre of the flower to add some sparkle.

ATC - N
I chose the theme of 'Numbers' for my 'N' ATC. The background paper is from a big case of paper which I bought at Costco a couple of years ago. I used a Tim Holtz stamp and black ink to stamp the numbers onto it and then inked the edges.
The blue numbers are die cut using Mac 'n' Cheese dies. I actually cut several of the 2 and stuck them on top of each other. The ATC is finished with two pieces of black Card Candy from Craftwork Cards.

For Ann
I made this card for the Sketch Challenge on the Craftwork Cards blog http://www.craftworkcards.blogspot.com/
It is in memory of my friend, Ann, who passed away recently. She was a big fan of Craftwork Cards and was one of the first members of the Card Club. A couple of months ago she mentioned to me that she liked the Blossom papers so I thought it would be fitting to use them on this card.
Despite suffering from Cystic Fibrosis, Ann never complained about her illness and gave up a lot of her spare time to help others no matter how she felt. She is a true inspiration. RIP Ann xx

Golden Wedding
I was asked to make this card for a Golden Wedding Anniversary.
The chipboard heart was embossed using the Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls embossing folder and then I painted it with a gold Dabber. I added three gold crystals down the left hand side and finished the card off with gold sheer ribbon and an Elegance Save the Date message.

Distress Inks
This card is definitely not my usual style but I did enjoy making it and am quite pleased with the result. I coloured the card blank using Distress Inks, then cut the flourishes and used the waste as a stencil. The flowers were cut from Grunge Board (this already had the embossed swirls on it) and I then used Distress Inks to colour them. I added a little Distress Stickles to the end of the petals on the middle flower. I punched a hole through the centre of each flower with a Japanese screw punch and then fastened all three together using a brad.
To finish the card off I stamped the wording using a Tim Holtz unmounted stamp but the least said about that the better!

Julie's Birthday Card
I made this card for Julie Hickey. Just incase you haven't heard of Julie she works for Craftwork Cards - designs products, demonstrates, runs workshops and has been known to write the odd book or two! It was Julie's birthday last week and I know she received the card as it is on her blog.
I got the papers some time ago from Craftwork Cards - in fact I had forgotten all about them! The picture doesn't do them justice as they are lovely and sparkly in real life.

Vintage Rose
Vintage Rose is a new paper collection from Craftwork Cards. The three papers I used on this card are all from this collection.
I inked the edge of the striped paper with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. The sentiment is an Elegance Birthday Message from Craftwork Cards - another new product! I added two pieces of Card Candy to it and covered them in glitter glue. The flower is made up from two die cut daisies scored down the centres with another piece of Card Candy and glitter glue to finish it off.

And even more Blossom
Back to a square card blank this time I'm still coming up with ideas using the Blossom papers - they really are very versatile and co-ordinate with each other beautifully. I've used two die cut daisies again, scored down the centre of the petals and stuck them together. These flowers are quick to make but look good.
I especially like the combination of hot pink and chocolate brown on this card.

Thank You
Back to a square card blank again for this card. I used three strips of Blossom papers for the background. I scored the petals of four die cut daisies down the centres, folded the petals on the score lines and then stuck two together fo make one flower. The flowers were finished off with Card Candy centres.
I punched a scallop circle in card that matches the daisies, stuck an In Circle Message in the centre and used foam pads to stick it to the card. To finish off I added 3 pieces of Card Candy in the bottom corner.

Sketch Card Week 3
I made this for week 3 of the card challenge on the Craftwork Cards blog. I used three panels of Blossom paper - the top and bottom panels are actually the same colour in real life, but look a little different on the scan.
I punched holes with a Japanese screw punch and laced chocolate grosgrain through them, finishing off by tying the ribbon in a knot. I then added a die cut daisy with a Card Candy centre and a chocolate scallop circle with an In Circle Message in the middle. Both of these were mounted on foam pads.

Deepest Sympathy
I used a pearlescent white card blank and covered the front with the pink and white flowered Blossom paper then added a strip of pink and white spotty Blossom paper.
To give the flower a 3d effect I scored the petals of the daisies down the centres and bent them upwards. I stuck the two daisies together using a glue pen and added a piece of Card Candy to the centre. Finally I added an oval message mounted on a silver punched oval.

Card Sketch - Week 2
This is the card that I have made for the second week of the Craftwork Cards WAGS challenge.
I used a hot pink card blank with some striped paper and hot pink floral paper from the Blossom collection. I cut a slot in the spine for the ribbon to go through and tied it at the left hand side. To finish off I added a message mounted on foam pads and two chocolate brown daisies with hot pink Card Candy.

Another Challenge Card
This is another card that I made for the Craftwork Cards sketch challenge. I covered my card blank with spotty Anglomania paper and added a strip of Scotty Dog paper mounted on red pearlescent card stock. I then added a panel of blue pearlescent card stock mounted on red and finished off with some card candy and an In Circle Message mounted on a blue circle which in turn was mounted on a red scallop circle.

Card Sketch
Craftwork Cards are having a challenge on their blog where they publish a sketch and you make a card that follows it - www.craftworkcards.blogspot.com This is my card but as I am on the design team I can't win.
The card I have made is very simple but I think it looks effective.

Blossom Again
I used a Ritzy Lime scalloped card as the base for this and added Blossom papers, die cut flowers, card candy and an In Circle message mounted on matching Blossom paper and a punched scallop circle.
I think the combination of lime and chocolate works very well.

Blossom
Here is a card I made using the new Blossom papers by Craftwork Cards. The flowers are made by scoring down the centre of the petals of 2 die cut daisies and sticking both daisies together. I got the idea from the Craftwork Cards blog although the centres of the flowers on the blog are more elegant than on mine!
I used a die cut scallop circle with a punched circle inside in and finished off with an In Circle message. Must admit I'm really pleased with this card.

Watch the Birdie
I used my new Tim Holtz die to cut out the bird and the cage. The cage was cut from some Bazzill card and the bird from some My Mind's Eye paper. The edge of the card blank is inked with Timber Brown Stazon and I used the same ink and A Field of Sky stamp to create a dotty background.
The scallop circle was punched from the same paper as the bird and I punched a 1 3/8" circle from card matching the card blank to go inside this before adding the In Circle message. I finished the card off with some Card Candy.

You're a Star!
I used a Ritzy Lime card blank for this and some My Mind's Eye papers from Craftwork Cards. The stars and scalloped oval were punched with Stampin' Up punches and I added an oval message to finish off the card.
This card is for a friend but I can't say much else as it relates to something that is hush hush at the moment. You know who you are though - you are a star and I have every confidence that you will continue to shine xxx

The Other Double Gap Card
This time I chose a hot pink and lime theme - I really like these two colours together. Again I used glitter glue for some sparkle and this card has self-adhesive crystals in the centre of the little daisies for even more sparkle!

Double Gap Card
This is for a 'Gap' card swap on my card group. I had to make two gap cards - I usually do two the same but have done different ones this time so will post the other one tomorrow.
I decided to do something a little different so made two gaps! I used two Elegant rectangles and stuck to a black and lime colour scheme. The picture perhaps doesn't show this but I added glitter glue to the Card Candy for a little sparkle.

Birthday Wishes
Another quick card, again using an Elegant Rectangle. I punched the bird and branch using a Stampin' Up punch. The scallop circle was also punched with a Stampin' Up punch. I also punched a circle from chocolate brown card and mounted it onto the scallop circle before adding the In Circle message.
The papers are by my My Mind's Eye and came from Craftwork Cards.

Special Day
This card was really easy to make. First of all I scored an Elegant Rectangle down the centre to make a card blank. I then cut 3 squares of Glitz and Glamour paper and stuck them to the card before adding Card Candy and a Beautiful Butterfly. Finally I tied some black grosgrain round the spine of the card.

ATC K
I chose 'Kiss' for these ATCs. I may have mentioned before that I am taking part in a swap on my card group where we are working throught the alphabet.
I covered the base card with some patterned paper, then stamped the lips using a Rubber Stampede stamp and Pink Passion ink from Stampin' Up. The edges of the ATC are inked with black Stazon and to finish off I cut the letters using my Mac 'n' Cheese dies which I stuck to the ATC using a glue pen.

Dotty Daisies
This card was made with a white Elegant Rectangle as the base card. The papers are from the Sugar and Spice collection. I added three die cut daisies and used foam pads on these to give dimension. I also added metallic silver Card Candy to the centre. The scalloped oval was punched from card to match the Card Candy and I used an Oval Message in the centre of this.

The Other Way Up
This is another Elegant Rectangle but this time it is portrait as opposed to landscape. The papers are from the Sugar and Spice, and Glitz and Glamour collections. The big flower is a die cut daisy with metallic silver Card Candy in the centre. I punched little daisies and added self-adhesive gems to their centres, and punched a scalloped oval from Sugar and Spice paper then added an Oval Message to the centre of it.
Again this hasn't scanned too well and looks better in the flesh.

Lime and Liquorice Again
Unfortunately the colours on this have not scanned very well - it does look much better in real life.
I've used a black Elegant Rectangle as the base card. The squares are paper from the Carnival and the Glitz and Glamour collection. I punched some little daisies from matching black card and used self-adhesive gems in the centre of them. The scalloped circle was punched with a Stampin Up' Punch , the black circle was punched with my new 1 3/8" circle punch and the the Happy Birthday is an In Circle Message

Lime and Liquorice
The idea for this came from a card I saw on Julie Hickey's blog. I love using squares but usually don't leave a border round the edge.
The papers are from the Glitz and Glamour collection and the Carnival collection. The butterflies were punched using a Martha Stewart punch and the scalloped oval with a Stampin' Up punch. The greeting in the centre is an oval message. Needless to say everything I used is from Craftwork Cards.

And again....
Here is yet another gap card mad with Elegant Rectangles. I love the combination of orange and lime. The striped paper is from the Glitz and Glamour collection, the lime paper is from the Carnival collection and the scalloped circle was cut with a Stampin' Up punch and is finished off with an In Circle messag. The flowers are from my Flower Store and have Card Candy centres embellished with glitter glue.
All paper and card is from Craftwork Cards - there's a surprise!!

And again.....
Another gap card but this time I used Beautiful Butterflies to fill the gap. The back of the card is a lime Elegant Rectangle and the front is a Hot Pink one. The striped paper is from the Glitz and Glamour collection and the lime foiled paper is from the Carnival collection. I punched the scalloped circle with a Stampin' Up punch and added an In Circle message to the centre. The card was finished off with three pieces of hot pink Card Candy down the left hand side.
Elegant Rectangles are my favourite Craftwork Cards product at the moment.

Here is another gap card. This time I have used a hot pink Elegant Rectangle for the back of the card and a lime one for the front. The striped paper is from the Glitz and Glamour collection and the pink foiled paper is from the Carnival collection. The flowers were from my Flower Store and I punched the butterfly and scalloped circle from matching lime card. The circle was finished off with an In Circle message and the flowers were finished off with pink Card Candy covered in glitter glue.
It goes without saying that everything used was from Craftwork Cards apart from the butterfly punch (Martha Stewart) and the scalloped circle punch (Stampin' Up).

ATC - J
Here the ATCs I made for the Alphabet ATC Swap on my card group. I wasn't sure what to use for the letter J and finally opted for 'Jewels'.
The background paper is by Prima and I inked the edges with a Versamagic ink pad in Sahara Sand. I cut pieces of card from a DCWV Linen Closet stack for the large daisies and stamped these with a large Fancy Pants background stamp before cutting the daisies using a Spellbinders die. The small daisies were punched out. After sticking all of the daisies onto the ATCs using a glue pen I added self-adhesive jewels. I would normally have used foam pads for the large daisies to add dimension but the card was quite thin and I thought it was better to stick it down flat.

Owls
Here is another card which I made for a swap on my card group. Once again I have used Elegant Rectangles as a base card. The papers are some fab 12 x 12s that I got from Craftwork Cards and are manufactured by My Mind's Eye (Quite Contrary collection).
The scalloped circle was punched with my Stampin' Up punch and I added an In Circle message to the middle of it. I also edged the panel of owls with glitter glue - I always said I couldn't use glitter glue for edging but I am improving with practice!!

Gap Card
Here is a 'Gap' card that I have made for a swap on my card group. This type of card was thought up by Julie Hickey and Paula Pascual and it really is lovely. The idea is to cut out a section of card to create a gap. This is then joined using die cut flowers or other embellishments.
I used two Elegant Rectangles as my base card and decorated the front one with spotted paper from the Glitz and Glamour collection and lime paper from the Carnival collection. I used matching flowers to fill the gap and added lime Card Candy embellished with glitter glue to the the centre of each. The scalloped oval was puched from the section of card that I cut out to create the gap and a I added an Oval Message to the centreof it.

Poppy Love with Chocolate
I made this card from 2 Elegant Rectangles and papers from the Poppy Love collection by Craftwork Cards. I scored the back rectangle twice horizontally, folded it over the chocolate and stuck the folded over bit to the back of the front rectangle - hope that makes sense!
It will be winging its way to Milton Keynes tomorrow - don't eat it all at once Gary xx!!

Happy Birthday Dan
And here is the side view:
I made this easel card for Dan who is 21 today - bet you would never have guessed! The card blank is an 8 by 8 from Craftwork Cards. The chipboard letters and numbers (Craftwork Cards) were embossed with the Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes embossing folder and then painted with a silver Dabber. The dotty paper is from the Best of British collection by Craftwork Cards. I finished the card off with an oval sentiment from Craftwork Cards mounted on a scalloped oval punched with a Stampin' Up punch.
Happy Birthday Dan, hope you have a great day xx
