Sweet Meadow - Birthday Wishes

Another quick card using the Sweet Meadow collection from Craftwork Cards.  It doesn't show on the scan but the spine of this card is across the top.

Sweet Meadow - Bunting

I think this is my favourite so far - I love the bunting!

Sweet Meadow - Best Wishes

Very similar to yesterday's card but this time I have dotted Candi on the embossed paper and added glitter glue to it.  The washed embossed paper is really lovely and looks great with glitter and white Candi.

Sweet Meadow - Just for You

This is an Elegant Square Back to Basics blank from Craftwork Cards.  The front of the card is scored and folded back.  The scan doesn't show it too well but the panel at the right is all pale green.

Sweet Meadow - Happy Birthday to You

This is an 8" by 8" blank and I covered it with a full sheet of the Sweet Meadow paper.   It doesn't show well on the scan but I added glitter glue to the centres of the flowers and to the Candi.

Sweet Meadow

Craftwork Cards have brought out a new collection called Sweet Meadow and it really is lovely.  The paper panel on this card is one of the washed and embossed papers.  There are lots of tags and messages etc available to complement the papers.

Fruit Scoop - Just for You

This was made using a cream Back to Basics blank from Craftwork Cards.  This colour combination is quite unusual but looks good with the cream card.

Something Different

This card is not my usual style.  I made it for a swap on my card group where the subject was floral.  The base card is a Back to Basics 148mm square blank from Craftwork Cards.

The papers are all by Stampin' Up, the flower stamp is by Hero Arts and the word stamp is by Tim Holtz.

After covering the blank with paper I then stamped the image onto the front of it using Memento ink in Rich Cocoa.  Then I stamped the flower three times on a mixture of papers, cut it out and paper pieced it onto the original.  The centre of the flower is a punched circle with the edges inked.

Fruit Scoop - Thinking of You

This card was made using a DL Back to Basics blank from Craftwork Cards.  I pinched the idea of the ribbon from Julie Hickey - thanks Julie.

The petals on the Retro Daisies are curled and the daisies are mounted on 2mm pads to add dimension.

ATC - V is for Vintage

I chose Vintage as my theme for 'V'.  It doesn't show up too well but I used some My Mind's Eye paper as the background and overstamped it using Brilliance Pearlescent Crimson ink and my favourite Fancy Pants stamp.  I then inked the edges with the same ink.

The flower (cut using the Tattered Florals die from Tim Holtz) and the punched circle are Coredinations card.  The flower was embossed using the D'vine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder and was then sanded.  I also sanded the edges of the circle.  Again this doesn't show well but I put a little Rock Candy Distress Stickles on each petal and used my finger to spread it out.

Finally I added gold Candi to digaonally opposite corners.
